The house has a cistern, a cellar, stables, an old wine tank made of stone and a bread oven from the seventeenth century. The stables preserve the blocks of stonework that were used as animal feeders; the cistern preserves its initial structure and the piping to pump up the water.
The set of spaces and buildings of La Torre del Codina has a clear defensive functionality. The building was easy to protect as it was closed on all four sides. Its privileged location, at an altitude of 480 meters above sea level and visible from several places, allows you to have eye contact with other inhabited places in the surroundings.
